Free vs. Paid Subscriptions

When logging into Prezi for the first time and setting up an account, you will be asked to choose a subscription level.

Basic

If you are new to Prezi, we suggest that you begin with the free Basic version to determine which features you’ll eventually want to pay extra for. This version allows you to create 5 different presentations and is perfect for familiarizing yourself with the tool.

Standard, Plus, and Premium

The Prezi website has a series of charts that allow users to compare which features are provided at each subscription level. As Prezi frequently changes its product offers, visit the website for the latest plans and associated costs.

Here are a few examples of features included with some of the paid versions of Prezi that may be worth the additional cost depending on your specific needs:

Presentation Voice-Over

Allows users to record narration that plays when viewers access your Prezi online.

Remote Presenting (Live Prezi)

Allows you to present remotely by sharing a link with others.

Offline Access and Portable Presentations

Allows you to download your presentations so you can access them without an Internet connection. (Without this feature, you need to be logged into the Prezi website to access and navigate your presentations.)

Students and Teachers

Educators and students are granted free online access to a limited version of Prezi as well as reduced fees for Standard and Plus subscriptions. To take advantage of these, you must use an official school email (usually one ending in .edu) when setting up your Prezi account.

One disadvantage of doing so is that if you leave or change your school, you may no longer have access to the email account associated with your Prezi account, which could make your Prezi content unavailable.
